Off for the Holiday
I won’t be celebrating the 4th at the track. Normally I do, but I’m changing it up this year. Last Night’s card went pretty well when Classy Bay won and paid $18.40. I only had one other winner last night, but a good price, even though it was less than I thought it’d be; can make the night profitable. I’ll be away this weekend, and probably won’t handicap again until Wednesday.
Good Luck;
Ron

i dont blame you for taking some time off… all this betting can cause head-aches as well as heart-aches. No better way to recuperate than a lil R&R.

Enjoy your time off. Heck the only time I get to gamble is when I am on vacation. LOL

I did enjoy my time off, thanks guys. It does seem kind of funny that I’d have to take time off from something I love so much, but it can wear on you after a while. Sometimes I just need to recharge and get a fresh perspective. The holiday was great but I’m ready to get back at it for the last week of the Hollywood Park meet. I have a feeling the tough stuff is coming up when Del Mar opens. If it’s anything like last years meet on the polytrack there will be some headaches and heartaches, but I’ll go into it fresh and prepared.
