Into the Bit

I’ve hesitated to jump in and start betting Del Mar since the beginning of the meet. I took such a beating at the beginning of last years meet that I’ve been a little gun shy. I haven’t made a bet there yet, and won’t make one today. I think I’ve got a feel for the track now though, and it seems to be playing pretty fair. I have been playing the Del Mar free handicapping contest and have been doing OK in it. I’ve only played 6 races, but have had 3 winners which puts me in a tie for 213th place or something like that with a $910 mythical profit. I used Bro Lo in today’s contest race, but that’s about all I’ll do with it today. I’ll be ready to start betting actual money later this week.
